The 18th Physics and Applications of Spin-related Phenomena in SemiconductorsPASPS-18Date:9-10th Dec. 2013Place:Engineering Science International Hall (Σ Hall) of Osaka University Toyonaka Campus
PASPS (Physics and Applications of Spin-related Phenomena in Semiconductors) was first held as a project of Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University in 1995. Since, then these series of meetings have been organized regularly. Now, we will hold the 18th meeting this year. In this meeting, we aim to promote the progress of research on semiconductor spintronics and the friendship among researchers through information exchange by presentations and discussions of their latest research results, including unpublished data.
Meeting Scope
1. Magnetic semiconductors (ferromagnet, antiferromagnet), nonmagnetic semiconductors, and its hybrid quantum structures and related spin phenomena
2. Magnet/semiconductor/superconductor hybrid structures
3. Detection and manipulation of nuclear spin
4. Other spin-related phenomena (new materials and applications)
※We will also accept papers related to recent topics on metallic and organic materials.
